Welcome to the Labyrinth Experience & Masked Ball, a magical 2 full days of Labyrinth themed fun and an evening Masked Ball.
What is the Labyrinth Experience & Masked Ball?
The very first OFFICIAL Jim Henson's Labyrinth convention and Masked Ball. This event is officially licensed by The Jim Henson Company.

Main event is 9th-10th September 2023.
Saturday 10.00am - 5:00pm
Sunday 10:30am - 5:30pm
The Masked Ball is on Saturday 9th September 7:15pm-11:15pm
What Ticket passes are available?

Can I upgrade my ticket Pass?
Yes, up to 6 weeks before the event you can upgrade to a more expensive ticket pass if there is availability. We will have to cancel your whole order and issue you with a voucher which you can use against a new order.
Will tickets be available to purchase on the day?
Tickets are likely to sell out before the event date so may not be available on the day. Masked ball passes are already running low and likely to sell out soon.
Are the venues accessible?
West Wycombe park is mixed terrain so may be difficult in areas for wheelchair users. The Pavilion is fully wheelchair accessible. Full information on accessibility here.
Where can I find Vendors/Exhibitor information?
We will have a great range of vendors in our Fantasy market. For more information on trading/exhibiting at the event click here.
Is there a partner hotel offering a discount?
Yes! We are working with two fantastic hotels. Full information here.
Will there be official licensed event merchandise?
Yes! More on this coming soon.
Can I bring my carer?
Yes, carers can attend the event for free with a full paying adult, you will still need to add the carers pass to your online order. Please bring proof that the person you are attending with is your carer such as a letter from your GP, carers allowance letter/statement or other official document.
Can I bring my dog?
No, dogs are not allowed at either venue unless they are a registered assistance dog. If you are bringing an assistance dog you will need to email us before the event date and bring some sort of proof with you to the event.
Masked Ball
What is the Masked Ball?
The first official masked ball, a magical evening of music, entertainment, special guests and surprises. There will be Goblin bar and foods and drink is available to purchase.

Saturday 9th September 2023 7:15pm -11:15pm
Is there a shuttle bus from the event hotels to the Masked Ball?
Yes, the cost is £8.00 return and can be added to your ticket order under 'products'. Shuttle Bus hotel pick up at 7:00pm and return at 11:00pm.
Is there parking at the Masked Ball?
Yes, there is onsite parking at the Masked Ball venue. This is free to all Ball ticket holders.
Is there a dress code?
YES! The Goblin King is very fussy and he will only allow you to enter his Ball if you are in formal attire or appropriately themed cosplay.
Is there somewhere to get changed?
Yes there are changing room at the Masked Ball venue. Head to the 'safari lodge'.
Is there somewhere to store my belongings?
Yes - there will be a clocked room.
Which ticket passes include the Ball?

Are children allowed to attend the Masked Ball?
The Masked Ball is for adults and aimed at adults but children are certainly allowed to attend. We do not have a different ticket rate for children. If you have a dependent that is 2yrs old or younger, you may bring them to the Ball for free but please keep in mind there may be loud music and flashing lights.
Is there a carers pass for the Masked Ball?
No, unfortunately we are unable to offer free or discounted tickets for the Masked Ball due to the limited capacity.
Workshops, Talks & performances
How Many workshops are there?
We'll have a selection of great workshops, these are announced as soon as they are confirmed. Workshops may be announced up to a week before the event date. Some workshops are free to all ticket holders and some are an additional cost. BABE WITH THE POWER PASS includes all workshops. More information on workshops can be found here.
Can I pre-book a workshop?
All paid workshops will be available to book and places are limited. Workshop booking will be available 8 weeks before the event date. All free workshops will be on a first come basis on the day but don't worry, there will be multiple workshops to choose from.
How many talks will there be?
We'll have a selection of fantastic talks, these are announced as soon as they are confirmed on our Facebook page and then added to the website here.
Are the talks included in the ticket price?
Yes all talks are included in all ticket passes.
What performances will I see?
We will have some wonderful performances from The Goblin King Players and some of our VIP special guests.
Special Guests
Who are the special guests?
Guests are announced on our social media channels first and then added to the website here.
When are guests announced?
Guests are announced as soon as they have been confirmed subject to work commitments.
Will the special guests be signing autographs & doing selfies?
All of our special guests will be signing at the dedicated signing session times at the main event. Event Schedule will be available 2 weeks before the event date. Please note that special guests will not be signing or doing selfies at the Masked Ball.
Do I have to pay for autographs or selfies with special guests?
For the most part yes, but some guests may sign for free.
Cosplay
Can I attend the event in costume/cosplay?
YES please! we actively encourage it, however you don't have to if you would rather not.
Do you have any rules about costumes, weapons, and props?
This is a family friendly event so your costume must be appropriate i.e. no nudity etc. You are not permitted to bring real weapons, fake weapons will be checked by our staff. If we feel that your props could cause damage to another individual, then it will not be allowed into the event.
Will there be a Cosplay/ Creature competition?
Yes! There will be a competition on the Saturday & Sunday at the convention (not at the Ball). You will be invited to come on stage and show off your costume & do a few lines or a 'bit' if you like.
Can I enter the competition on both days?
Yes you can, as long as you are wearing a completely different costume/cosplay. The judging criteria will be the same on both days.
How do I enter the Costume/Cosplay competition?
You will be able to register for the cosplay competition on the morning of the event. More information will be published nearer to the event date.
Will there be a prize?
Absolutely! Prizes to be announced.
Who will be judging the competition?
We will have a panel of special guest judges on both days.
Photography & Filming
Will I be photographed or filmed at the event?
Yes! You are more than likely to be filmed or photographed by our official media team and associated press. If you do not want to be filmed, please make one of our official event Media team aware when you get to the event.
Can I bring my own professional filming equipment?
Unless you have been given a press pass you are not allowed to bring filming equipment into the event. You can bring a camera.
Will panel talks & workshops be filmed?
Panel Talks will be filmed and highlights will be published on our youtube channel within 6 months of the event date. Workshops may be filmed but will not be shown on our youtube channel.
Can I get a press pass?
Typically we do not give out press passes to third parties. If you are interested in a press pass please email info@thamescon.co.uk . Please not we do not do press passes for the Masked Ball.
