Where is the Labyrinth Experience & Masked Ball?

Wycombe Abbey, Frances Dove Way, High Wycombe. 

Entrance is via Clarence gate. The what 3 words are: monday.entire.script

**If you are walking, please note that the entrance is a 10 minute walk up marlow hill. You may want to bring a change of footwear** 

Is there onsite parking? 

There is only accessible parking for pre-registered Blue Badge holders. There are two large local car parks, Eden Car Park and The Swan car Park. 

Is there a taxi drop off point at the venue?

Yes, via Clarence Gate. There is then a short walk along a
path and down steps to reach the ball itself. There is also an accessible drop off point for those who cannot do stairs, you will be directed to this when you arrive. 

When is the Labyrinth Masked Ball?

Saturday 22nd August, 2026

What time does the doors open?

5:30PM

What time do the doors close? 

11:15PM

Is the venue accessible?  

The main areas of the event are accessible and step free, though Wycombe Abbey does have some mixed terrain including gravel and grass. 

Is there accessible toilets?

Yes

Can I bring my dog?

No, applications to bring assistant dogs are now closed. 

Food & Drink

Is there food and drink at The Labyrinth Experience? 

Yes! We have a bar selling themed cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and bottled water. We also have food vendors selling hot food such as Burgers, fries, salad, chicken, rice and much more! Plus a Crepe van if you fancy a sweet treat!  

Can I bring any food and drink into the event?

No, unless you have a medical condition that requires you to carry snacks such as diabetes. You may be asked by security on bag checks for a medical note to support this.  

Special Guests 

Will there be special guests at this event?

This is not a signing event or convention - there will not be any guests at signing tables at this event. We do however have a surprise special guest who will be available for free selfies. ​

Do I have to pay for autographs or selfies with special guests?

Yes, these can be pre-ordered online or you can pay on the day. Some guests will accept cash but most will be card only or you can pay online if you want to use a card but network service will be limited. 

Do I need to bring something to get signed?

Most of our guests will have prints on there tables to choose from but others you will need an item. Guests you will need items for: Brian Henson, Brian Froud, Wendy Froud. Prints and posters will be available to purchase from our merch stand. 

What's happening on Sunday?

You are welcome to join us for a fan meet up at West Wycombe Park - the original filming location! From 2pm. Tickets for this are sold on the door by the national trust. There will be a brass band and some fun reenactments. West Wycombe Park, Village and Hill | Bucks | National Trust

Ticket Information

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund? 

No, as per our terms and conditions, all tickets are non refundable.

 

I can no longer attend, can you help me sell my tickets? 

No, this is not something we can assist with, please research reputable third party ticket sellers. 

Can I give or sell my ticket to someone else?

Yes BUT this close to the event we are not able to change the names on tickets or reissue tickets to a new email address. You can send your tickets/gift them to someone else if you can no longer attend. they will just be scanned as normal on the day and we will not be asking for ID when checking tickets. 

 

Will tickets be available to purchase on the day? 

Tickets are likely to sell out before the event date so may not be available on the day.

 

Can I get an Essential Companion ticket?

The deadline for application for essential companion tickets has now passed. 

Will there be officially licensed Labyrinth merchandise?

Yes! 

Photography & Filming 

 

Will I be photographed or filmed at the event? 

Yes! You are more than likely to be filmed or photographed by our official media team. If you do not want to be filmed, please make one of our official event Media team aware when you get to the event. 

Can I bring my own professional filming equipment?

No

Can I get a press pass?

No. 

What is the dress code?
Dress code is strictly smart, ballroom, or cosplay.
If your child struggles with formal wear, they may dress in casual clothes. 

Will there be a cloak room?
Yes, for a small fee.

Will there be a changing room?
No.
 

 

Is there wi-fi at the venue?
No. 

 

Will cash and card be accepted by vendors?
Yes, both cash and card will be accepted (however, you can never
take anything for granted in the Labyrinth, so you might want to
bring a little cash, just in case any Goblins decide to mess around with the card machines. 

Safety & Security

Will my  bag be checked before I enter the event?

Yes, on site security may check your bag at any time.

Will the event have security?

Yes

Will there be a certified first aider available?

Yes​

Is there a lost child/person point?

Yes at the main check in desk.
